At Last Came Halloween

At last it came over the families

The clouds containing thunder

Lighting up the dark sky

Raining like dogs and cats

Flooding creeks and streets

Children were trick-or-treating

In the thunder and rain

Parents protecting them

People treating them

In the spirit of a wild Halloween

Me

I
Gentle human
Learning to sustain the living
I assist who needs
Me

I may be at Junctions

Was I at a crossroad of wellness?

No doubt, no duality and no judgment
I received an understanding of silence
and enhance the sanity of the saintly
it cleared mind and solidified calmness
that was my function of this junction.

Now there is no undergrowth

And there will be no overgrowth

The planted seed has room to grow

My inner and outer self are calm,
Now thought and behavior match
The friction of an assumption is gone
No more am I out of place here or there.

I will never be at the crossroad of numbness

I Have No doubts

I was at a crossroad of calmness

He was there to assist me to cross

I was delighted to get assistance

But I was not ready to converse

Because he had an intention to take

It was an irrational path of conversion.
A thought was to let him have his way
It will clear itself a different way

Was I at a crossroad of readiness?
I was not ready to burst forth with laughter
And lose my vision of a holy session
I kept my fine reason to myself.
He began walking away to the side
It was enough to choose a fine way

A Time to Learn

A first generation immigrant in America

Awoke one day to realize a need to contribute

So he chose to present his thought to a mentor

And joined a senior writing group in a small town

He expressed his thoughts in broken English phrases

They sounded like preaching but he wasn't a preacher

He asked why his writing sounded like a sermon

But his mentor said to write what you observe

Added not to worry about comments just write

It was encouraging so he kept on writing

He moved away but kept going to the writing group

Then in summer he found another senior group

That met every week two miles from his new home

He walked there to read his writing but confused them

With his English and they asked him to take an ESL class

He went to the community education program

And the supervisor tested his knowledge of English

Then quickly placed him in the advanced class

The teacher said his skill of writing was good

And volunteered to help him in spelling and grammar

He took a chance to relearn English

And took the time to write this piece as a challenge

Are You Puzzled, Dear

You are here to help me, dear

Word usage can surprise

Your foreign accent is good

It can be beneficial, dear 

You treasure our heritage, dear

It is pure ancient love

You are priceless, dear

You are spark of nobleness

You have fame and fortune

I am puzzled, my dear

I have Body

I am not a body, I dwell in it

I am a part of a universal consciousness

My brain is part of a physical body

The body is made of the five basic elements 

My brain registers a motion that creates an emotion

The emotion is evaluated by my pure intelligence

My brain stores observation that is known as a memory

My memory is a record of the past, which my history

A history is a reference of the past which can be useful

It assist for comparison with a present  that help an imagination

If I the ego don’t have any patience, I react

It makes me weak where I loose my energy

If I use my intellect to evaluate and decide to act

When I respond it allows me to have a peaceful life

Their funfair is adding worthlessness
Our business is to assist them with humbleness

For Awhile

Society is helping to sustain me, for awhile,
Don't expect to be the same, for awhile
Just accept firmly as it is, for awhile

Hope

Hope is a feeling

Its keeps us happy

Which perch on the love?

That can sing a tune forever

But stops when we have doubt

The sweetest is love at first sight

Its shore a marriage forever

I’ve heard of bad endings and blind love

There’s excitement in blind faith

Ego and jealousy are wings of doubt

They crush the little sweet heart

Tons of hope keeps friendship warm

Hope helps navigate my ship
