I remember my Grandma
Her hair was long and smooth
With tiny curls over her ears
and a braid that kept it all in tact
I remember my Grandma
Her hair was long and smooth
With tiny curls over her ears
and a braid that kept it all in tact
I remember my Grandma
When she carried me on her waist
I always played with her braid
And she never scolded me
And she never scolded me
I remember my Grandma
Her hair became gray when she got old
Her arthritic hands unable to braid
Her hair became gray when she got old
Her arthritic hands unable to braid
She never complained in her pain
I remember heir Grandma
I remember heir Grandma
When she enrolled me in school
And always sent a sandwich and milk
She never reminded mother's passing
And always sent a sandwich and milk
She never reminded mother's passing
I remember my Grandma
When I got married she gave me a ring
A ring to turn when I am sick or worry
then write a letter to her and pray
