with bread and
butter alone
no wine or
vulgarity
just curiosity
and equality
I can’t live
without reading
and writing
being TV or movie junky
just walking and
talking
I can live
with innocence
and truth
no lying and
buying
just listening and learning
I can’t live
in a hotel or
motel
without friends
and folks
just earning and
burning
I can live
With integrity
and honesty
no ego and jealousy
just sympathy and
empathy
