Dangerous Lust

Last week I saw dangerous love temptation in action
Daughters of previous teen mothers going down the same path
They were in high school learning to be responsible
But shifted their attention to attract their male classmates
A week later I was invited to speak at High School students

The topic was “How to Manage the Temptations as a Teenager”
I was ready after studying "How to Root-Out Teenage Pregnancy"
Some grandparents are now raising and supporting the babies
I've heard their words of lamenting agonies with gentleness
What a pity for our so-called scientifically progressive society
Our policymakers promote comfort and convenience for teens
They provide funding for school buildings, computers and white-boards
But not money for ethical and moralistic literates teachers and administers
But no money for social, emotional and ethical intelligence and moral teachings

Parents look to the schools as babysitters for after-school hours
Or expect the school to make their child a genius without any support from home
Dutiful, devotional parenthood takes a backseat to earning a living, leaving children with no discipline

Community elders need to reduce their greed and come forward to assist
Instead of the highlight of their day being a greeter at Walmart, card-playing or dancing
Fathers and mothers establish work and sexual boundaries for your teenage sons and daughters
Instead of selling hamburgers and other fast-food
They will be learning to be better students and not looking for their next sexual high or focusing on falling in love

Assist them in staying away from dangerous love and lust and becoming helpless young parents
Teach them to be ethical capable earners and a self-sustainer of their own family
Allow them to be contributors to a strong, caring, civilized community
It is better to work for a harmonious extended family instead of a second family.
