That night is old
But she can't close her eyes
And she is starving to tell
She wants to see my face,
What a tough time,
She wants to tell
about her affair at the fair
How can I say no to her!
I went to see her that night
Her eyes were full tears
Even on a full moon night
She was sitting with lips so
tight
I sat quietly for awhile
She calmed down and looked up
at her mother's photograph
She leaned on my shoulder
and went to sound sleep
