It was a fast life to accumulate
plenty enough money for old age
we lived on the worry-edge
she cried every night
in the last month of 1996
Forget the darkness of that nightmare
of those plenty past nights
Let's get out of the cold land
and build a cozy dreamy cottage
on the sunny shore of the ocean.
Her tears became pearls
even on the darkest day
We left the accumulated prosperity
In hands of obedient adults
and left for the remaining voyage
of living a calm life
We found a serene place
She believed in me and herself
Our mutual trust went a long way
We have reason to laugh
in this peaceful life
On a little island in the ocean
sleeping soundly in the moonlight
We read aloud our writings of the day
with a cool breeze along the salty seashore
Children are playing on sea shore
while spouses enjoy the air
and gather to eat spicy food and sweet
delicacies.
We have a content peaceful life
